Swamp Cooler Problems and Possible Solutions

Big winds are running through our area today and for a couple more days. This is usually not a problem for refrigerated air conditioners, but it can be for evaporative coolers. If your evap cooler stops working properly, check the fuse or breaker for the cooler. The winds may have tripped it. If you notice that the fuse is blown or the breaker is tripped, either replace the fuse or reset the breaker. For other possible problems, see the chart below.
