"I have lived in El Paso since about 1952. We engaged Total Air El Paso through Lowes' after our HVAC unit of eleven years ceased functioning. Lowes has a reputation for only contracting for the best craftsmanship and work. Your rep, Luis, met with the Lowes rep and myself to determine the requirements, wrote a detailed proposal that included information on guarantees, timing, expectations of delivery and work performance, as well as recommending a reliable replacement system by Lennox.

This has not been our first foray into HVAC as we converted our swamp cooler to HVAC eleven years ago. The original contractor proved unreliable and the workmanship was questionable although deemed "up to code" by the City at the time. Over the years, repairs became more and more expensive as it seemed the detailed warranty never matched what "they" found wrong. When it finally failed, we were not surprised that the original contractor had been in and out of bankruptcy and business several times in the 11 years.

 

We searched for solutions and found Lowes, who recommended Total Air. Our replacement after a week without any AC except fans in 100+ heat went smoothly and professionally. The two technicians, Alex and Orlando, needed no guidance, urging or oversight, which in El Paso is highly unusual. Lowes’ Victor Torres did come by to check but it was primarily to see how we were doing as he was confident the work was exceptional. Denise Tudor, Comfort Care representative for Total Air, came by to check the jobsite and performance only to find that the work was essentially complete. Alex and Orlando instructed both myself and my wife on the system including operation of the thermostat. Although I was an electrical engineer for many years, even I was impressed with the levels of professional and personal knowledge of the two.

 

Since routine maintenance is offered at an extremely reasonable annual contract rate, I am confident that this system being maintained by Total Air will last many years longer than the first.
